Virtual Reality Field Trips
Take 360 degree field trips across the planet with Google Expeditions, or Youtube VR, and even create your own using Thinglink 360.
My French students loved seeing Paris from above and "visiting" the Eiffel Tower! There are many for Europe and the United States, and fewer for other regions. Consider making some 360 experiences for your students on your next trip!
Sharing text and "text"
VoiceThread -- It's a learning tool where teachers and/or students can create, share, and comment on images, PowerPoint presentations, videos, audio files, documents, and PDFs, using microphone, webcam, text, phone, and audio-file upload. This is a great way for students to practice speaking in a foreign language and sharing their lives with others. They can also reflect on how they would like to improve when they listen to what they've recorded.

Padlet -- It's an online virtual bulletin board, where students and teachers can collaborate, reflect, share links and pictures, in a secure location. Padlet allows users to create a hidden wall with a custom URL.

Flipgrid --It's an online virtual bulletin board where students and teachers can create and share videos. My co-teacher used this to allow students from Connecticut and Louga to "meet" each other. It's another great way to practice authentic communication in foreign language and connect cross-culturally with peers.
